Swedish Bath Grab Rail

The Swedish Bath Grab Rail provides additional support for people who find stepping over the side of the bath difficult. Its raised handhold gives the user something secure to grip when entering or leaving the bath, helping make transfers feel more controlled and manageable. This can be particularly useful for people with reduced mobility, limited strength or balance difficulties who want greater confidence when bathing.Unlike a wall-mounted grab rail, the Swedish Bath Rail attaches directly to a suitable bath using rubber-lined clamps, which help provide a secure connection while protecting the bath surface. A base plate extends down to the floor to provide additional support. The angled upper rail reaches over the bath and can be gripped from several positions, while the adjustable height of 625 – 830mm (24.5 – 32.5") allows the handhold to be set to suit the individual.Made from epoxy-coated steel, the bath support rail is designed for regular use in bathroom environments and is available in White or Chrome. It is suitable for bath rim heights between 425 – 640mm (16.75 – 25"), with a clamp adjustment range of 37 – 90mm (1.5 – 3.5"). The rail measures 230mm (9") wide, with 172mm (6.8") between the bars, and supports a maximum user weight of 150 kg (23 st).Installation note: Floor fixings are not supplied, as the appropriate fixing method will depend on the floor construction and installation location. Professional installation is recommended to ensure the bath rail is correctly and securely fitted before use.
