The Trend KWJ900 Kitchen Worktop Jig is an all-in-one routing jig designed for fitting and jointing kitchen worktops up to 900mm wide, enabling tradespeople to cut both parts of a joint in as little as 15 minutes including setup. Machined from 12mm Compact Grade High Pressure Laminate, this CNC-precision jig is built to withstand the demands of regular site use. Fixed length markings accommodate worktop widths of 400mm, 500mm, 550mm, 600mm, 616mm, 635mm, 650mm, 700mm, and 900mm, covering the full range of standard UK kitchen unit configurations. The jig handles a comprehensive variety of joint types and cuts, including left and right hand corners, a 400mm radius peninsular joint, 45-degree end cuts with slight radius, a 45-degree trade corner solution for hob units, 100mm and 40mm radius corners, a 35mm kitchen door hole, and a ¾-inch BSP hole for mixer tap installation. It cuts worktops up to 40mm thick, with or without an anti-drip postformed edge. Setup is straightforward thanks to 10mm diameter ABS plastic pins with tapered shoulders, providing three-point pin contact for precise and repeatable positioning. Engraved markings identify pin holes clearly, while three open-ended dog bone bolt recesses and engraved lines for 65mm bolts and cross-cuts ensure accurate jointing every time. To use this jig, a portable plunge router with a ½-inch (12.7mm) shank and minimum 1,300W is required, along with a 30mm outside diameter template guide bush (ref. GB30), a ½-inch TCT router cutter with 50mm cut length, and two clamps.
